First half summary:

At halftime, the Air Force Falcons lead the Colorado State Rams 17-10. Air Force was able to get on the board early and often as they scored two touchdowns in their first two possessions, both of which came in the first quarter.

The Falcons' first score came on an eight-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Tim Jefferson to wide receiver Kyle Alderman. CSU went three-and-out on their next possession and Air Force once again moved the ball down the field with ease as fullback Jared Tew capped off an 11-play, 68-yard drive with a six-yard touchdown run.

CSU instantly responded on their next drive. While a questionable call said that fullback Zac Pauga's knee was down before stretching into the end zone, Ben DeLine was able to get the Rams three points with a 22-yard field goal.

The Falcons' next drive was halted with a quick three-and-out and the Rams were able to march 59 yards on seven plays and senior quarterback Grant Stucker punched in a 13-yard touchdown run.

As time expired in the first half, AFA quarterback Erik Soderberg kicked a 51-yard field goal.
