Thanks for the update: Looks like it is going to be a good series.

I don't mean to nitpick... but it would be cool to hear some more questions about:
1Which coach recruited them and what they like about them
2) what other schools were recruiting them
3)What the coaches told them about position and playing time etc

Thanks in advancetongue

I appreciate the input. I'll be sure to add those questions.

In regards to Nwosu, I had a previous update on him that addressed your questions (pretty sure it was in The Fort and not an article). Billy Napier was a big reason he chose CSU. He developed a good relationship with him, and Billy was his primary contact. Danny told me the night before he committed that his finalists were CSU, Ohio, and Illinois. Coaches plan to use him on offense to start out. He has the size to play tight end, but with his hands and athleticism he could also be split out wide. As you can see in his highlight tape, he's a pretty solid pass rusher too, so don't be surprised to see him moved there if the need arises. Coach Mac said at his Signing Day presser that they signed a lot of guys that had the size and skills to play TE and DE/OLB, and that's not by accident - he likes having a group of guys that fit that mold and can be moved around.

As for early playing time, I'm not sure they promised it to any of the signees. But as always with a new staff, every guy starts out with a clean slate, so I'm sure even the freshmen that arrive in the fall will get every opportunity to see the field and get reps with the 1st and 2nd teams in practice.

Any more?

I think this ship has sailed since Coach Mac has shut down press access to the players.

I like the Buffstampede's Q & A's it does with CU's 2012 recruiting class. It would be nice to see that for CSU's 2012 class as well.

@whoever is in charge of this site.

Make it happen
