Sieg discusses decision to join CSU

Colorado State had a strong tradition of successful walk-ons dating back to the Sonny Lubick glory years and the Rams are hoping that a talented group of non-scholarship athletes that plan on joining the program this fall will rejuvenate the once proud Ram walk-on tradition.

One such in-state talent that bypassed a pair of offers from Tulsa and Lafayette (Pa.) to become a Ram is Eaton (Colo.) High School star Trent Sieg. The 6-foot-5, 240 pound athlete helped his 2A team to a 10-1 record in 2012.
