3-star DB grows Ram horns

The Rams added a big time cornerback prospect with 19 offers on Monday, as Atlanta (Ga.) Woodward Academy defensive back Jeffrey Hubbard committed to Colorado State on Twitter. He will join prep teammate and fellow three-star Ryan Glover, a dual-threat quarterback, in CSU's 2017 recruiting class.

“I am officially committing to Colorado State University!! GO RAMS!!” Hubbard tweeted. The 5-foot-10, 180-pound cornerback and return man chose CSU over 18 other offers including Boston College, Cincinnati, Kansas State, Purdue, UConn, and USF.

Hubbard took an unofficial visit to Colorado State on June 21, two weeks after Glover unofficially visited CSU.

The pair provide two of the Rams' four three-star commits for the 2017 recruiting class. The Rams are now up to six verbal commitments for the current recruiting cycle.

As a junior, Hubbard had three interceptions, two of which were returned for touchdowns. He added two more scores on punt returns.

GoldandGreenNews.com will have much more on Hubbard and his commitment.
