GoldandGreenNews.com has caught up with numerous top Colorado State recruits in the past couple of days, and they have informed us on the latest developments in their recruitments:

- Starting off the with upcoming seniors, class of 2016 prospects, 6-foot-8 big man Tim Harrison had assistant coach Ross Hodge watch him on Monday, according to Harrison's mother Myrna Harrison. CSU extended a scholarship offer during the visit, which also coincided with the 3-star recruit being inserted into the 2016 Rivals150 at #150. The move up for Harrison came after former 2016 standout, 5-star point guard Derryck Thornton Jr. reclassified into the 2015 class, opening up a spot for Harrison. CSU will have their hands full with Harrison, as high-majors are getting involved with the faceup four-man. Stanford head coach Johnny Dawkins and a USC assistant coach watched Harrison on Tuesday. California head coach Cuonzo Martin and Colorado head coach Tad Boyle watched him on Wednesday. Myrna told me that CSU will be watching Harrison this weekend when he plays at the Adidas Uprising Gauntlet Series in Indianapolis, IN.
- Harrison was not the only San Diego native who CSU visited this week. Justin Moore, a point guard who plays for Mission Bay High School, currently slotted at #128 in the 2016 Rivals150 had assistant coach Hodge visit him on Monday, Moore told me. He told me it's CSU's first time expressing interest in him, and that they'll be watching him as he plays for the San Diego All-Stars this weekend at the Asics Double Pump High School Boys Spring Classic in Las Vegas, NV.
- CSU is also venturing out to the east coast and they'll be monitoring several 2016 big men, starting with three-star power forward Chris Baldwin. He's been a player CSU has kept tabs on since he played well at the National Prep Showcase in November. Originally a member of the 2015 class, Baldwin reclassified to the 2016 class and will be playing for Mass Rivals in the Adidas Uprising Gauntlet Series in Indianapolis, IN. During the first evaluation period in Dallas, TX, Baldwin played in 4 games and averaged 6.8 ppg, 4 rpg, 1 spg, 1 bpg in 18.2 mpg while shooting 52% from the field. Mass Rivals went 4-0. Baldwin also informed me that CSU will be watching him this weekend.
- Dontay Bassett is another player CSU has been monitoring since December and they'll be watching him this weekend at the Adidas Uprising Gauntlet Series in Indianapolis, IN, he told GoldandGreenNews.com. Bassett plays for the Oakland Rebels. During the first evaluation period in Dallas, TX, Bassett played in 4 games and averaged 6.5 ppg, 8.5 rpg. The Oakland Rebels went 1-3.
- A new big man target for CSU is Bob Martin Jr. He's a 6-foot-6 power forward who plays for The Tilton School and is from Waltham, MA, and plays for BABC on the AAU circuit. Martin Jr. told me over text that CSU will be watching him this weekend at session 2 of the EYBL in Lexington, KY. During the first evaluation period in Dallas, TX, Martin Jr. played in 4 games and averaged 6 ppg, 5.5 rpg, 2.0 apg, 1.8 spg in 26.8 mpg. BABC went 2-2.
- Moving on to the perimeter, a wing from Texas will have CSU checking him out this weekend. Curtis Hollis, a 3-star wing who plays for Summit High School in Mansfield, TX, informed GGN that CSU is going to watch him this weekend at session 2 of the EYBL in Lexington, KY. Hollis plays for Pro Skills and said CSU has been recruiting him since December. Given that Joe De Ciman and Fred Richardson are set to graduate after the 2015-2016 season, wing is a position of need for CSU. During the first evaluation period in Hampton, VA, Hollis played in 4 games and averaged 5 ppg, 4.8 rpg. Pro Skills went 4-0.
- The class of 2016 is a priority, since a handful of scholarships will open up after the 2015-2016 season. But that has not stopped CSU from checking in on a pair of 2017 wings who play for Desert Pines High School in Las Vegas, NV. Greg Floyd has been a priority for CSU, as they were the first school to offer him a scholarship and watched him during the first evaluation period at the Pangos Spring Spectacular while hosting two official visitors and future commits in Kimani Jackson and C.J. Keyser. Floyd saw his stock rise immensely after his strong showing in Las Vegas, NV, as he garnered new scholarship offers from California, Kansas State, Seton Hall, USC, Utah State, Virginia and West Virginia. Assistant coach Hodge checked in with Floyd on Tuesday, and they'll be watching him at the Asics Double Pump High School Boys Spring Classic in Las Vegas, NV, his AAU coach Lamar Bigby told me.
-CSU will also be watching Floyd's high school and AAU teammate Trevon Abdullah, according to Bigby. Abdullah is also a 2017 wing who also had a nice showing at the Pangos Spring Spectacular during the first live evaluation period.
